Fairy Tattoo Design Pictures
Fairy Tattoo Design PicturesFairy tattoos are they modern apparitions? While the motif; of the fairy tattoos may be a recent appearance in the tattoo parlor, the magical and mischievous quality of the fairy kingdom has been around for ages. It seems only fitting that these nature spirits and guardians of magic should become more and more popular as years go by. They fit right in with the mystical

Hoot The Ground Running
This was a reader submission, but the pics were later removed at the request of the submitter.
Kat Power
Kat Von D might get a lot of criticism in the tattoo world, but some of her portraits are still phenomenal. These are two of my favourites of hers, Sharon Tate and Eliza Dushku respectively.

Eagle Tattoos Pictures
Eagle Tattoos Pictures What more can you ask for than to get an eagle tattoo? Tattooing is one of the oldest art forms created by human beings. Initially tattooing was not considered only an art, but a form of rebellion. People attached a magical or mystical significance to it, as they used tattoos to symbolize the fertility of earth and women, the sacredness of chieftainship, preservation of
Dead Sexy
I love this Zombie Marilyn Monroe, done by Jason Butcher. Marilyn is probably one of the most popular icons for pinup tattoos, even entering the world of celebrity, on Megan Fox(y), below. Although for some reason she didn't go for the zombie option.

Little Red Riding Hoot
Another reader submission, from Danielle. This owl was done by Geoff Horn at the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention.
The Hoot Chick
First ever self-done apprentice submission! Becky MacKeigan sent this in, writing, 'I wanted to submit my owl tattoo. And when I say mine, I mean mine! As in, I designed these tattoo's and did them on my own leg :)
I'm an apprenticing tattoo artist at Iron Ink, in Truro, Nova Scotia. The Queen of hearts lady w/ owl was my fourth tattoo. And the coffin came later, my 16th tattoo I think.'
Thanks!

A Black And Grey pinup-fest!
I got a great email from Ruben, who has a nice collection of pinup tattoos done by some top-class artists.
This beautiful Pearl Frush lady was done by Steve Soto from Good Fellas Tattoo Shop, Orange, CA.
The Gil Elvgren Piece above was done by Tom Clarke at Ace's High in Fullerton, CA.
Also by Tom Clarke, the Marilyn Monroe portrait above.
And this is how they tie together! Some wicked ink there, thanks!

Health Hazards of Tattoos
Because it requires breaking the skin barrier, tattooing may carry health risks, including infection and allergic reactions. In the United States, for example, the Red Cross prohibits a person who has received a tattoo from donating blood for 12 months (FDA 2000), unless the procedure was done in a stateregulated and licensed studio, using sterile technique. Not all states have a licensing
